Glimpses of Thimphu streets
We, 5 friends, had a few days trip to Bhutan. Thimphu was the first city that we visited. A nice and clean city with very friendly people.
It was a normal busy day for Thimphu city.
Small cars were serving as City Taxi and we had seen plenty of pickup trucks from Toyota.
We have seen almost all the Bhutanese in their traditional dress. It is customary or mandatory to be dressed in traditional dress for offices, schools or collages.
On the way to immigration office of Thimphu, at a crossing we found all these people busy with their daily schedule.
Both sides of the road you will find shops well decorated. Window shopping could be a good time-pass.
As we went on, we came across roads less populated. There was small shops run by Bhutanese families in their home.
The road leaded us to Thimphu Dzong premises.
Our return journey was started from the entrance of Royal palace of Thimphu. Taking picture of the palace was strictly prohibited.
